Castellammare – “I learned with deep regret the news of the arrest of a teacher from our school community, news that has understandably caused distress and pain in all of us.
School is and must always be a safe and peaceful place for children, families and educators themselves, and this moment calls us to live with responsibility and attention the reality that surrounds us.
I would like to express my closeness to all the people involved in this affair, especially the little ones and their families, who are going through a very trying time. I thank the police, the judiciary, for the work done up to now, while waiting for full clarity”.
The Archbishop of Sorrento wrote this in a note -Castellammare of Stabia, Monsignor Francesco Alfano.
"The Church, as always, wishes to be a presence of comfort and hope, accompanying each one with love and solidarity. I invite the entire community not to give in to despair, but to remain united in prayer and trust, to face this trial together with a spirit of peace and justice", concludes the archbishop.
