The comedy show "Lezioni di Napoletanità" (Lessons in Neapolitan Culture) is ready to return to the stage to delight audiences with a new series of performances. From January 24 to February 2, 2025, the Teatro Acacia in Naples will host six performances of the production curated by Giovanni Oliviero's MusicaèManagement.
This original event is presented as an international congress dedicated to Neapolitan culture and identity.
A Congress of Neapolitan Comedy
Spectators will have the opportunity to watch a show hosted by Alan De Luca, Amedeo Colella and Lino D'Angiò. De Luca and D'Angiò, known for their work on the program Telegaribaldi, combine their talent with that of the writer Amedeo Colella, bringing a comic and cultural experience to the stage. The performance is transformed into a sort of university, the University of Naples Gennarino II, where the protagonists, in the role of teachers, offer the audience a unique lectio magistralis.
A Journey Through History and Humor
During the performance, Amedeo Colella enchants with stories and anecdotes about the rich history of Naples, enriched by the imitations, songs and monologues of De Luca and D'Angiò. This combination of comedy and Neapolitan culture promises a brilliant and engaging show, capable of taking spectators on a non-stop journey between the historical tradition and the lively comedy typical of the city. After the repeat performances at the Teatro Acacia, the tour will continue at the Teatro Ricciardi in Capua on February 16, and then arrive at the Teatro Roma in Portici on April 30. Further dates will be announced soon.
There's an anticipation that evokes community and lasting memories for the evening of Saturday, February 7th, when at 8:30 pm, the Teatro Acacia del Vomero will open its doors to something beyond the show. On stage and in the audience, stories, relationships, and dreams finally realized will converge, on the final evening of the "Nida For You" project promoted by Nida Onlus Campania, led by coordinator Chiara Migliaccio.
The heart of the event will be the show "Grisù, Giuseppe e Maria" by Francesco Procopio and Stefano Sarcinelli, adapted and directed by Pierluigi Iorio, a theatrical work combining irony and emotion, lightheartedness and depth. This artistic setting is chosen to celebrate a journey that has transformed solidarity into concrete action, giving shape to a seemingly simple goal: granting eighteen wishes of children and young people experiencing fragility.

This article is very interesting and talks about a cultural event that seems fun. I like the idea of combining comedy and history, but I'm not sure if I'll go see the show. Naples has a rich history.
