"Today's strike is a cry of alarm," declared Francesco Percuoco, general secretary of the Fiom-Cgil of c"Open disputes, like those involving Jabil and Softlab, put thousands of jobs and the entire industrial fabric of the region at risk. We cannot accept continued speculation at our expense."
At the heart of the protest is the difficult situation at the Jabil plant in Marcianise, where 413 employees are undergoing a collective dismissal procedure.

Also of concern is the fate of the 150 former Jabil employees, now employed by Softlab. With the end of the redundancy fund, an uncertain future also looms for them.
The unions are calling for decisive institutional intervention to support struggling businesses and ensure workers' future employment. "We cannot afford to lose another battle," Percuoco concluded. "Our voice must be heard."
