Mutaverso Theatre is preparing to present a new event that promises to fascinate the spectators of Salerno. After the success of TIGER DAD, the next show on the bill is “Con tanto amore, Mario”, which will be staged on January 31st at 21 pm at the Piccolo Teatro del Giullare. The production is by Astorri Tintinelli, with the writing and interpretation of Paola Tintinelli.
At the end of the performance, participants will have the opportunity to interact with the main performer, in a dialogue mediated by Michele Di Donato of KLP Teatro.
A life story
“With so much love, Mario” tells the story of Mario, an ordinary man and a former postman, who has reached the final chapter of his existence. The show adopts a silent, black-and-white style to explore the closing of a life cycle and the opening of a new one. The title is inspired by a song by Mario Abbate, and the narration is enriched by songs by Enzo Jannacci and radio broadcasts of weather forecasts, offering an evocative sound dimension.
A tale of objects and thoughts
The performance unfolds in symbolic settings: a room, a street corner, a closet, all places that symbolize the antechamber of death. The protagonist interacts with a world of objects that reflect the fragility of human existence and the desire for immortality. The silence present in the character becomes a vehicle for art to expose intimate and secret aspects of the human experience, revealing elements that are apparently banal but imbued with a deep and powerful meaning.

I read about the event at Mutaverso Teatro and it seems interesting, but I don't know if I'll go. Mario's story makes me think about life, but the fact that it's silent leaves me perplexed. We'll see.
