Nainggolan breaks silence after arrest: "Thanks to everyone, now I want to find my serenity again"

Radja Nainggolan is speaking out again after his arrest and questioning as part of an international drug trafficking investigation. The Belgian midfielder, now on probation and banned from leaving Belgium, took to social media to thank those who have supported him during these difficult times.

"You can imagine how hard the last few days have been. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who supported me.", wrote the player in his Instagram Stories. "The support of my family, my friends, KSC Lokeren-Temse, its amazing fans and my teammates gives me the strength to keep going."

Nainggolan He then wanted to express his gratitude towards his lawyers, underlining the fundamental role of his lawyer, Mounir Souidi: "I deeply appreciate their dedication and professionalism." Now, the former Cagliari, Roma and Inter midfielder wants to turn the page and focus exclusively on football: "Now that I'm back home, I want to find my peace of mind again. I kindly ask that my privacy be respected and that I be given the time I need to recover."

Finally, he clarified that he could not make any statements on the case: "I'm not allowed to do so at this time, and I won't be giving any interviews.
