Naples - Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 22-year-old Moroccan man with a criminal record, charged with assault and resisting a public officer.
The incident occurred on Corso Arnaldo Lucci, near the Metropark station, where officers from the General Prevention Office had responded to a report of harassing behavior.
Having quickly arrived on the scene, the police officers were approached by the driver of a bus numbers of the line that indicated two men as responsible for harassing some passengers and the driver himself, forcing him to make them get off the vehicle.

One of the two, upon seeing the officers, reacted violently, insulting and physically attacking them. After a struggle, and with the assistance of a second patrol car, the man was subdued. During the search, he was found in possession of a sharpened iron blade and a bag containing several valuables, the provenance of which he was unable to explain.
The young man was arrested and also reported for receiving stolen goods and carrying objects capable of causing offence. Investigations are ongoing to clarify the origin of the seized goods.
