Naples – A blitz by the Carabinieri of the Naples Poggioreale Company this morning in San Giovanni a Teduccio with a wide-ranging operation led the military to comb through various areas of the neighborhood.
The checks led to a significant result: the seizure of 7 kilos of hashish, two pistols – one with a drum with the serial number erased and a semi-automatic 22 LR caliber – and 32 bullets.
The illicit material was carefully hidden in a square of an abandoned industrial area along Corso San Giovanni.

Investigations are now underway to trace those responsible. In particular, the weapons will be subjected to ballistic tests to ascertain any possible involvement in bloody crimes or other crimes. This latest intervention is part of the operations to combat crime in the area.
