NAPLES – Widespread operation by the Local Police Napoli to ensure compliance with the Highway Code and combat the phenomenon of illegal parking attendants.
The checks were concentrated in the neighborhoods of Fuorigrotta, Scampia and Stella, leading to significant results.
During the operation, the officers issued 133 fines, for which it was not possible to proceed with immediate charges.

Twelve cars were towed away, while 61 other tickets were issued directly to the offenders. The most common violations included driving without insurance, using a cell phone while driving, and not wearing a seat belt.
The operation's balance also includes the withdrawal of four licenses and the seizure of three vehicles. In particular, in the territory of the Eighth Municipality, the police surprised four individuals engaged in the activity of illegal parking attendant. All were reported to the judicial authorities.
The operation is part of a broader plan to ensure road safety and compliance with the law in the most sensitive areas of the city. The Local Police has assured that checks will continue in the coming days to keep attention high on these issues.
