The Naples Local Police Motorcyclists Territorial Intervention Group Operational Unit carried out territorial control operations in the San Giuseppe-Porto and Vomero-Arenella neighborhoods.
In particular, in via Medina, via Monteoliveto, via Diaz and piazza Leonardo 39 vehicles were checked, 13 were subjected to administrative detention or seizure, while 5 licenses were suspended and one driver was reported for repeated driving without a license.
In total, 20 violations were contested by the police officers. Local police, of which 3 for driving without a license, 3 for driving a vehicle subject to administrative seizure, 4 for lack of insurance coverage and the same number for using a cell phone while driving.
Personnel from the same department were also involved in two other operations, the first aimed at checking passenger transport, which involved 15 NCC taxis: 16 violations were contested, including one for illegal operation, 14 for failure to use seat belts, and one for failure to have the vehicle inspected.
A bus was also checked and the driver was charged with 7 violations relating to rest periods while driving, for a total of 3 thousand euros.
The second intervention concerned the control of goods transport with the support of the Mit Dgt personnel of the South: 3 trucks were checked and 11 violations were contested, of which 2 for failure to use seat belts, one for a vehicle without an inspection and 4 for circulation with altered or non-functioning devices.
