Naples – The controls ordered by the Prefecture of Naples on establishments authorized for the retail sale of explosive products continue: an initiative desired by Prefect Michele di Bari.
And in this context the Territorial Technical Commission explosives carried out inspections in 2024 stores located in the metropolitan area in December 2025 and January 23.
The checks have led, where necessary, to the initiation of administrative proceedings aimed at adopting the sanctions provided for. The inspection activities do not stop here: further checks are already planned and will concern not only small retail stores, but also factories and warehouses of pyrotechnic devices.

The aim is to verify compliance with current legislation and ensure public safety in the sector of manufacturing and sale of explosive material.
“The Prefecture of Naples and the Police Forces will continue to constantly monitor this delicate sector, ensuring timely interventions to prevent any possible risk to public safety”, we read in the note released by the Prefecture.
