Asia Napoli SpA and the Cooperativa sociale Ambiente solidale onlus donated 100 blankets to the homeless.

The garments, delivered to the La Ronda del Cuore Association, which will distribute them to shelter communities and street people, are the result of the separate collection of used fabrics and clothing in the city of Naples.

The delivery of the blankets took place this morning in Piazza Garibaldi in the presence of the Director of General Services of Asia, Carlo Lupoli, the Director of Human Resources, Benino Maddaluno, the president of the Ambiente Solidale social cooperative, Antonio Capece and the vice-president of the La Ronda del Cuore Association, Giulio Colella.

This year too, thanks to the local recycling system for used clothing, Asia Napoli and Ambiente Solidale, the company entrusted with the collection of fabrics and clothing, have managed to transform discarded items into a tangible resource.

The blankets, which will help keep many people in need warm in the Naples area, represent the result of a virtuous process that combined sustainability, innovation, and solidarity, demonstrating how careful waste management can generate value for the entire community.

"This morning we made a concrete gesture of solidarity and sustainability, delivering 100 brand-new blankets to the 'La Ronda del Cuore' association," explained Environment Councilor Vincenzo Santagada. "These blankets were made thanks to the valuable contributions of Neapolitan citizens who actively participated in the separate collection of used clothing.

Today's initiative represents a positive example of how a commitment to separate waste collection can translate into a tangible benefit for the community, particularly for those living in the most vulnerable conditions. I sincerely thank the association "La Ronda del Cuore" for their daily commitment to the homeless of Naples.

The municipal administration is firmly committed to promoting initiatives of this kind, which combine environmental protection with concern for others. "This project," emphasized Asia's sole director, Domenico Ruggiero, "represents a tangible example of how waste sorting, along with other material recycling activities, can benefit the community and, in particular, those in need.

This initiative to support vulnerable and needy people is another concrete result of the commitment of the many Neapolitans who are committed to separate waste collection. "In the Municipality of Naples alone, with Asia, Ambiente Solidale collects approximately 710.000 kg of textile waste," explained Antonio Capece, president of the Cooperativa Ambiente Solidale, "a significant figure that brings the cooperative's clothing and textile collection activity above the national average."
