"In addition to increased safety standards, capacity has increased by 20 percent: it will be able to carry 250 passengers in each direction at a time," the mayor added.

Furthermore, the National Association of Metro Lines (ANM) has reached an important agreement with the trade unions for the overall reorganization of the city's funicular service, establishing the extension of evening hours until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and until 00.30:00.30 a.m. on Sundays, for both Chiaia and Centrale. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, at least one of the two will close at XNUMX:XNUMX a.m.

All four funiculars are scheduled to run every 10 minutes. "All this," the mayor concluded, "will allow users to improve city mobility and increasingly avoid using their cars. I thank the company, the workers, and the unions for their joint effort."
