Record Christmas Eve for the Monte Echia viewpoint with a peak of 7000 people who came to enjoy the beauty of the panorama. The structure, inaugurated on April 9, 2024, has registered 500.000 visitors in recent days since its opening; 420.000 tickets were sold on site, the remainder are dematerialized tickets, season tickets or travel tickets purchased from other retailers.
The two elevators have performed more than 90.000 trips each, in complete safety and without significant problems. The visit of Monte Echia, using the elevator, is reported by travel agencies and influencers as well as by the international press: a few days ago also by the Financial Times.

It's interesting to read about the record-breaking Christmas Eve at the Monte Echia viewpoint, but I wonder if such a high turnout could lead to management and safety problems in the future. 7000 people is a lot and with two elevators I don't know if they're enough for everyone.
