Naples – An elderly victim, a robbery worth over 10.000 euros and an escape in a car with a stolen license plate.
This is the result of a robbery that took place in recent days in the capital of Campania, where the Carabinieri of the Operational Nucleus of the Naples Vomero Company arrested two men, a 43-year-old and a 48-year-old, believed to be responsible for the robbery.

According to the investigation coordinated by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, the two acted with their faces covered and armed, surprising the victim - an 84-year-old businessman - as he was leaving his home to deposit the takings from his business. The money, over 10.000 euros in cash, was skilfully stolen before fleeing by car.

The precautionary custody order, issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, was executed after a careful analysis of the images of video surveillance and license plate monitoring systems. The 43-year-old was sent to prison, while the 48-year-old was placed under house arrest.
