Naples – The preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Naples has ordered the release from prison of the neomelodic singer Tony Colombo, granting him the measure of house arrest in the municipality of Gaeta.
The decision came after the investigating judge deemed the precautionary measures to be weakened, thus granting the request made by the artist's lawyers, Alfredo Sorge and Sergio Cola.
"Satisfaction for the conclusion of a long and painful pre-trial detention in prison of the well-known artist", Columbus's defenders commented.
Last October 20th his wife Tina Rispoli was released from prison
Last October 20th, the singer's wife also Tina Rispoli, obtained the same measure and is currently under house arrest in Minturno. The couple was arrested on October 17, 2023, along with Vincenzo Di Lauro, son of mafia boss Paolo Di Lauro. In total, the operation conducted by the Naples ROS led to the issuance of 27 precautionary measures as part of an investigation coordinated by prosecutors Maurizio De Marco and Lucio Giugliano.
Tony Colombo and Tina Rispoli are accused of external association with a mafia organization and participation in the illicit activities of the Secondigliano clan, with particular reference to the production and distribution of contraband cigarettes.

It's strange that an artist like Tony Colombo could be involved in such serious things, I didn't expect something like this from him, I hope the truth comes out and everything becomes clear.
It is always difficult to judge legal situations, but I think it is important to wait for the facts before jumping to conclusions. The legal system must take its course.
