Naples – A 21 year old from Torre Annunziata, already known to the police, was arrested yesterday afternoon by the State Police in the Case Nuove area.
The young man, caught with approximately 60 grams of cocaine divided into 271 packages, was stopped after a short chase.
The officers of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, suspicious of a constant coming and going of people in via Santa Maria delle Grazie, decided to carry out a check.
Inside a building, they identified the 21-year-old who, at the sight of the police, attempted to escape. Despite this, he was quickly stopped and found in possession of the drugs.
In addition to the arrest for possession of drugs, the young man will also have to answer for resisting a public official due to his reaction to the request for a check.
