Nest Napoli Est Teatro participates in the event “We love Enzo”, an event dedicated to Enzo Moscato, one year after his death, characterized by a series of initiatives in Neapolitan theaters. On January 31 and February 1, the event will see the performance of Tonino Taiuti on the stage of San Giovanni a Teduccio.
Tonino Taiuti: a career of excellence
Tonino Taiuti is known for his versatility as an actor, musician, performer and author, making an important contribution to the Neapolitan theatre scene of the 80s and 90s. His career is characterised by participation in large theatre productions and projects conceived for the off circuit. “Play Moscato” represents for him a heartfelt tribute to the Maestro’s writing. Taiuti talks about his artistic bond with Moscato, explaining how his theatrical path has been strongly influenced by him. Every show he has staged has always contained fragments of Moscato’s work. “It won't be easy, even if for many I am a Moscatian actor as well as a Vivian one”, says Taiuti, underlining Moscato's importance as a poet and playwright.

In his artistic journey, Taiuti wondered why Moscato had chosen not to tour, preferring Naples as his stage. Over time, Taiuti understood that Moscato's poetry is an element intrinsically linked to Naples, a city that shares a deep emotional and artistic bond with Moscato.
