The young man was noticed while taking a plastic bag from a hole in a wall along via Lorenzo Rocco. Suspicious of the gesture, the carabinieri followed him to the home of a 43-year-old, where the check was triggered. Inside the bag, Crescenzo hid a precision scale and 23 bars of hashish.
He also had another dose of the same substance on him and €40 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. His client was also searched and found in possession of a dose of hashish and a dose of marijuana, for which he was reported to the Prefecture. Crescenzo, however, was arrested. Reading the article I wondered why people don't understand that hiding drugs is not a right thing. Sure, there are always controls but there are those who continue to do it, like Crescenzo, and it ends badly.
