Pozzuoli was the scene of a large-scale control operation conducted by the Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, State Police and ASL Napoli 2 Nord.
The extraordinary intervention aimed to combat irregularities in the commercial sector, ensure compliance with tax and health and hygiene regulations and combat the phenomenon of undeclared work.
The activity involved numerous businesses, including car parks, bars and shops. The checks led to the discovery of several violations, especially regarding safety at work.
o. The most frequent violations include lack of training for employees and the employment of irregular personnel. Some premises have been temporarily closed due to serious sanitation deficiencies, with the obligation to adapt before reopening.
The fight against illegal work was one of the central aspects of the operation. In a parking lot, the owner was reported for employing an irregular worker, receiving fines of over 19 thousand euros. Similar situations emerged in a bar in the city center, where three employees without regular contracts were identified.
During the operation, three people were reported for various crimes: a 41-year-old and a 51-year-old for violation of special surveillance and a 31-year-old for illegal parking. In total, over 140 individuals and 60 vehicles were checked.
The operation confirms the commitment of law enforcement to guarantee legality and safety, with particular attention to compliance with regulations in the production and commercial sectors.
