SANTA MARIA CAPUA VETERE – "You have to give up your daughter and hand her over to her father if you want to be with me." These were reportedly the words that pushed a woman to end the relationship with her partner, a 33-year-old man of Senegalese origins living in the town near Caserta, and to report him for stalking.
According to what is reported in the complaint filed with the Carabinieri of the Police StationSanta Maria Capua Vetere , the situation would have degenerated after the woman refused to comply with the man's request to put aside their daughter, a two-year-old girl from a previous relationship.
The intolerance shown by her partner towards the little girl, which emerged several times during their cohabitation, would have convinced the victim that the man was not the right partner.

After the breakup, the man allegedly began stalking her with stalking, phone calls and threatening messages. Among the threats, there was also that of publishing intimate videos of the couple on social networks. The situation would have further degenerated when, in one episode, the man allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair and threw her to the floor inside her apartment, while the child was present. Only thanks to the intervention of some neighbors, alarmed by the screams, did the woman manage to escape.
The Carabinieri, based on the complaint and the evidence provided by the victim - including messages, videos and images documenting the stakeouts under the house - proceeded with the deferred arrest of the 33-year-old.
The man is now under house arrest and will have to answer for the crime of stalking. The victim and her child are under protection.
