Sant'Antonio Abate. Today, the Carabinieri of the Sant'Antonio Abate Station, in collaboration with specialized personnel, executed a precautionary custody order against two men, respectively 30 and 50 years old, both residents of the municipality. The two are seriously suspected of the crimes of robbery, illegal possession of weapons and receiving stolen goods.
The investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, saw the military engaged in in-depth technical activities and in the analysis of the footage from the video surveillance cameras. The elements collected would have allowed attributing to the two men the responsibility for a rapina which occurred last September 21st to the detriment of a local supermarket.
According to the investigators' reconstruction, the two suspects, armed with rifles and with their faces covered, entered the business, threatening the staff with death and forcing them to hand over the takings, equal to 580 euros. Immediately after, they fled.

After the formal procedures, the thirty-year-old was transferred to the Pescara prison, while the fifty-year-old was placed under house arrest at his home. Today's operations represent an important result in the commitment of law enforcement against crime in the area.
