The protagonists
The quartet is composed of Peppe D'Argenzio on alto sax, Gianni D'Argenzio on tenor sax, Gianni Taglialatela on baritone sax, and Luciano De Fortuna on percussion. These musicians, united by a long passion for jazz, present a show that crosses various musical genres, from pop to rock, through funk and blues. The use of the head arrangements technique promises to make the performance spontaneous and engaging.
An Evening of Jazz and Conviviality
Villa di Donato, with the #SantEframoJazzClub, confirms itself as a point of reference for the Campania jazz scene, offering a warm welcome. History and Collaborations
Sax Maniacs, born as a saxophone trio in the early 90s, expanded their lineup with the inclusion of Luciano De Fortuna on percussion. Known for performing in small spaces and without amplification, the musicians have performed in jazz clubs and theaters in the Campania and Rome scene. Among the collaborations, famous names such as Jean Louis Chautemps and the groups Avion Travel and Musica Nuda stand out. In 2024, they participated in the prestigious Maratona del Jazz Italiano held in L'Aquila.

I read this article and it seems very interesting, especially the part of the saxophone quartet. It would be nice to see a show like that, even if I'm not a big fan of jazz but I like to discover new musical genres.
