Scafati mourns the death of Snezhanka Goranova, a 21-year-old Bulgarian woman who died in a car accident between Friday night and Saturday on the A1 Milan-Naples motorway, near the Caserta Sud toll booth.
The young woman was traveling with her boyfriend when she was involved in a three-vehicle collision. Following the impact, one car caught fire and the girl was thrown from the passenger compartment.
There was nothing that could be done for her: the 118 paramedics, who arrived promptly on the scene together with the firefighters, could only confirm her death.
The victim's boyfriend was seriously injured in the accident , as were two other men involved. The circumstances of the accident are still being investigated by Caserta traffic police officers, who are conducting investigations to clarify the incident.
