Serena Rossi returns to television with the third season of "Mina Settembre" on Rai1, starting January 12. The announcement was accompanied by the actress's joy at the recent release of Cecilia Sala, a journalist previously detained in Iran.
The fiction, based on the novels by Maurizio De Giovanni, is ready to capture the public again with new adventures set in the picturesque alleys of Naples.
New Season of “Mina Settembre”
The series, co-produced by Rai Fiction and Italian International Film, will be broadcast in six prime time evenings on Rai1 and available for streaming on RaiPlay. Serena Rossi will once again play the social worker Mina Settembre, supported by Giuseppe Zeno in the role of Domenico, a gynecologist and love interest of the protagonist, and Marisa Laurito, Aunt Rosa. One of the new features of this season is the introduction of Luca Ward in the cast.
Season 3 Plot
The new season opens with Mina busy preparing for her wedding with Domenico, an event that takes on a special meaning as the couple aims to adopt Viola. The character faces new personal and professional challenges as she guides the young social worker Fiore, played by Chiara Russo. In addition, the arrival of Erasmo Genzini as Jonathan will add new drama to Mina's life. The season also marks the exit of some characters: Marina Confalone as Olga and Giorgio Pasotti as Mina's ex-husband.
