The court of Salerno has ordered the indictment of six people for the death of Singh Gurinder, the 35-year-old Indian farm worker killed in Sicignano degli Alburni during the 2021 Christmas holidays: the hearing is scheduled for February 10.
The accusations
Singh Davinder, a colleague of the victim, is charged with aggravated murder, decapitation and concealment of a corpse. The other five accused, including the owner of the property where the murder took place, are charged with various counts of aiding and abetting and perjury.
The discovery of the body
Singh Gurinder's body, in an advanced state of decomposition, was found in Palomonte, abandoned in a canal on a plot of land. The body was discovered by a passerby.
The investigations
The investigation, coordinated by the prosecutor Giampaolo Nuzzo, has ascertained that the murder occurred at the height of an argument in the home that Singh Gurinder shared with his colleague Singh Davinder. The latter, according to the prosecution, killed his colleague and then hid his body.
The Role of the Company Owner
The owner of the buffalo breeding company where the two men worked is accused of aiding and abetting and forgery for having, according to the prosecution, tried to obstruct the investigation.
The testimonials
Four people close to the entrepreneur, including some relatives, are accused of perjury. The statements of Singh Gurinder's wife, assisted by the lawyer Luigi Gaudiano, would have confirmed that the murder took place during the Christmas period of 2021 inside the home where the two workers lived.

Singh Gurinder's widow, who had reported her husband missing, has repeatedly sought justice for his death.
