Simone Scuffet, speaking to Radio CRC, talks about his first steps in the blue jersey: having arrived in Naples in the winter market in exchange for Caprile (now at Cagliari), the goalkeeper from Friuli spoke about his integration into the team and the challenges that await him.
“I found a very close-knit group – Scuffet begins – and that, despite the good results, he remained humble and with a great desire to work and improve. The journey is still long, and these are fundamental values. Whoever arrives must embrace this mentality and carry forward these principles”.
Scuffet insists on the importance of daily work: “During the week it is essential to arrive prepared, know the opponent and study the countermoves.

However, Naples represents a new challenge for the goalkeeper: "It's a new stage, where I'm dealing with a big company and with important ambitions. There's a lot to learn here. Every day I try to learn something by working with a strong group, full of great players."
Scuffet serves as deputy Meret, with whom he shares not only the department, but also a long-standing friendship: "We have a great relationship, based on respect and the ability to be happy for each other's successes. Before, as opponents, I was happy to see him play well; now, as teammates, I know that his saves are fundamental for the good of the team."
On the horizon is the big match on Saturday at the Diego Armando Maradona against Juventus. Scuffet does not hide the importance of the challenge: "It's a heartfelt match and must be prepared with care, as we always do. Juventus is a team that never gives up: they have obtained many draws and a few less victories, but the fact that they never lose shows their solidity."
