In response to the cold snap currently affecting the city, EAV, the Campania Region's public transport company, has decided to open the "Stadio Maradona-Mostra" station in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood overnight to offer shelter to the homeless.
The station will remain open from 23pm today, Monday 13 January, until 5am the following morning, with the possibility of extending the opening hours into the nights of Tuesday and Wednesday, should the cold temperatures persist.
The initiative aims to provide safe and adequate shelter during the coldest hours of the night, given the low temperatures expected in Naples in the coming days. EAV emphasized the importance of this humanitarian measure, aimed at protecting the health and well-being of the most vulnerable citizens.
