A new year of pink meetings begins at Storie al Femminile

The new year begins with the “Storie al Femminile” review at the social center of the Fondazione de Stefano in Ogliastro Cilento, with a meeting that marks the debut of the new season of cultural events. Saturday, January 4, starting at 18:00 p.m., two books by prominent authors will be the protagonists, Rosa Tiziana Bruno with “Facciamo la pace” and Maria Luisa Limongelli with “I miei pensieri come un volo di farfalle”.

A double by the author

Rosa Tiziana Bruno's novel, part of the narrative series "Il mulino a vento", addresses the theme of global conflicts through the eyes of young Tommaso, traveling with his father, a photojournalist, in war-torn territories. The book raises crucial questions about the origin of conflicts, their connection with resources and food, and tries to reveal the secret of peace. The author, known for her contributions to educational literature and social commitment, has received several international awards, including the International Writers Award.

A collection of verses and reflections

Maria Luisa Limongelli presents a varied collection of stories, poems and reflections in her book “I miei pensieri come un volo di farfalle” (My Thoughts Like a Flight of Butterflies). The title is a sort of journey through the life of the author, who manages to convey a positive vision of existence through her writing. The introductions by Elvira Milano Lo Bascio, Maria Rosaria Verrone and Milena Esposito enrich the volume, suggesting to the reader a deep reflection on the capacity of life to always offer new opportunities. The debate will also involve the journalist Alfonso Sarno, curator of the review, and the actress Nunzia Schiavone, who will offer the public the reading of passages selected from the texts presented. Admission to the event is free.
