Castellammare di Stabia is preparing to host a rich calendar of literary meetings. From January 13 to February 20, the Teatro Karol becomes the point of reference for lovers of reading and writing, thanks to the PLATEALMENTE dal libro alla scena review.
Edited by Pierluigi Fiorenza and supported by Casa del Contemporaneo, the exhibition offers five unmissable events, all characterised by a strong autobiographical flavour.
The calendar of meetings starts Monday January 13, 18.30 pm, with a chat about “Revolutionary vocation. 'O Zulu. The unauthorized autobiography of Luca Persico”, Ed. Il Castello, a journey into the history of 'the man called Zulu', exasperated by fame and tensions within the musical group 99 Posse. The life story of Luca Persico from the Naples of social centers and the antagonistic left to the Italian stages up to the most orthodox militancy: always behind a dream of freedom and equality.
A journey through life stories
From the former frontman of 99 Posse, Luca Persico, to the former Napoli footballer, Joseph Bruscolotti, which retraces his career and his encounters with the Italian champions.
There will be no shortage of testimonies from the singer-songwriter Andrea Sannino, by the essayist Gigi Di Fiore and the multifaceted artist Rocco Papaleo. Each of them will bring their own story to the stage, made of successes, difficulties and passions.
An initiative that involves
The meetings will be moderated by journalists and writers such as Eliana Bianco, Gaetano Imparato and Maria Pia Nocerino, who will guide the audience to discover the works and the authors. The readings by Federica Citarella will bring the pages of the books to life, further involving those present.
Useful Information
All events will be held at Karol Theater of Castellammare di Stabia and admission is free until all seats are taken. For more information, please call 081 1824 7921 or visit the website www.teatrokarol.it.

The initiative that will take place in Castellammare di Stabia seems very interesting. However, I am not sure if I will be able to attend all the meetings. The variety of guests and topics is really remarkable, let's hope it will be a success.
