After more than a year of detention in prison, the ex-wife of the murdered boss Gaetano Marino, known as Monkerino, will now be able to serve the precautionary measure in her home in Minturno. A decision that comes at a crucial moment in the trial, now close to the conclusion with the abbreviated rite.
The investigation, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Sergio Amato and conducted by the prosecutors Maurizio De Marco and Lucio Giugliano, had led to the accusation of external competition in Camorra association for Tina Rispoli and her husband. According to the prosecution, the couple had ties with the DiLauro clan.
The decision of the investigating judge to reduce the precautionary measures seems to indicate a new phase in the proceedings, even though the trial is still ongoing and the final sentence is expected in the coming weeks.
What changes with this decision?
The house arrest measure represents an easing of the situation for Tina Rispoli, who will thus be able to wait for the outcome of the process enjoying greater freedom. However, the woman remains a defendant and will have to answer to the charges brought by the Prosecutor's Office.
All eyes are now on the trial, which is nearing its conclusion. Tina Rispoli's defense will try to demonstrate the groundlessness of the charges, while the prosecution will work to prove the woman's guilt.
