Lamezia Terme. A new loss has struck the world of work. Francesco Stella, 38, lost his life in a horrific accident this morning at a profile manufacturing plant in the industrial area of San Pietro Lametino. The worker fell from scaffolding approximately six meters above the ground, hitting his head violently.
Despite the timely intervention of the 118 personnel, there was nothing that could be done for the man. The police officers intervened on the spot police, the coroner and the magistrate on duty to start the investigations and clarify the dynamics of the incident.
This is the first fatal accident at work recorded in 2025 in Calabria and, as far as we know, at a national level. Ispesl inspectors are already working to carry out the necessary checks and determine whether there have been any shortcomings in safety in the workplace.
