AFRAGOLA – Accident on the A1 Naples-Rome motorway near Afragola, where a Sicilian truck driver lost his life: Pasquale Sergio Tranchida, originally from Marsala, was driving towards Northern Italy when the fatal accident occurred.
According to an initial reconstruction, the truck driven by Tranchida suddenly skidded, violently crashing into the guardrail.
