Salerno – As part of a “high impact” operation conducted in the municipalities of Salerno, Cava de' Tirreni, Mercato San Severino, Sarno and Nocera Inferiore, the Salerno Flying Squad arrested three people for possession and dealing of narcotics.
The operations, divided into two distinct operations, led to the seizure of drugs and packaging material.
In the first case, the agents, with the support of the units of the Campania Crime Prevention Department and local police stations, searched a house in Cava de' Tirreni, surprising a 39-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman in possession of cocaine (32,9 grams), heroin (0,579 grams) and marijuana (4,82 grams).

In addition to the narcotics, tools for weighing and packaging drugs were found. By order of the Nocera Inferiore Prosecutor's Office, the two were placed under house arrest pending the direct trial.
A second operation took place in Nocera Inferiore, where a 24-year-old resident of Scafati was stopped in his car. During the check, the officers found a block of cocaine weighing one kilogram and 730 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. The young man was arrested and transferred to prison pending the validation hearing.
