Vairano Scalo. A 33-year-old of Albanian origins was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Vairano Scalo Station on charges of possession for the purpose of dealing in narcotics. The episode occurred in via Lazio, in the municipality of Vairano Patenora, in the province of Caserta, during a roadblock.
At the sight of the soldiers, the man tried to get rid of the drugs before stopping his Lancia Ypsilon. With a quick movement, he threw an orange plastic egg and a sock containing four other similar eggs out of the passenger window. They were immediately recovered by the Carabinieri, the packages contained a total of 28 doses of cocaine, 24 of crack and 7 of hashish, all wrapped in cellophane film.
The 33-year-old, already known to the police for drug-related crimes, was asked to get out of the car and subjected to a personal and vehicle search. He had 281 euros in cash on him, presumably the proceeds of the illegal activity, and two smartphones with their SIM cards.
All the material, including drugs, phones and money, was seized. After the formal procedures, the arrested person was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities.

It's strange how some people continue to do these illegal activities, despite the consequences. I think there should be more control and education to prevent these things from happening, especially in areas like Vairano.
