Napoli prepares to face Verona on Sunday night with a squad that features some significant absences. Antonio Conte, coach of the Azzurri, will be able to count on Matteo Politano, recovered from physical problems, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will be unavailable due to fatigue.
The absence of the Georgian, already in the air, seems also linked to market reasons. Paris Saint-Germain is strongly interested in Napoli's number 77 and the deal could be closed soon. Fielding him against Verona would represent a risk in terms of injury, an eventuality that the Neapolitan club wants to avoid so as not to compromise a deal of this magnitude.
With Kvaratskhelia out of the game, Conte has finalized his choices for the formation. Politano will return to the starting lineup on the right flank, while Brazilian David Neres will preside over the left side. Romelu Lukaku will be confirmed at the center of the attack, ready to lead the Azzurri's offensive.
