The film will be screened at Posillipo Cinema di Napoli on February 26, at 20.30:XNUMX p.m., followed by a discussion with the director and some of the cast. This event represents the first Neapolitan presentation after a highly acclaimed national tour and the award for best direction obtained at the Terra di Siena Film Festival.

Setting and Plot

The film, set between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, presents a mix of historical reality and fictional narrative. The characters include historical figures such as the nun Maria Teresa de' Liguori, played by Giovanna Sannino. The filming took place in suggestive historical locations, including the Cathedral of Naples and the State Archives, chosen to ensure a strong sense of authenticity.

Production and Soundtrack

The soundtrack of the film is the work of the composers of the Conservatory "Francesco Venezze" of Rovigo, with the artistic direction of Marco Biscarini. It also includes pieces by Enzo Avitabile.
