The story of “Trauma”
The song follows “Sleep Paralysis” and continues to narrate the events of Matteo and Andrea. Matteo, after a dark demonic rite, finds himself in a spectral limbo crowded with tormented souls. Trapped, his body is possessed by the demon of sleep, spreading chaos in the city and influencing people's actions. On the other side, Andrea emancipates himself from the demonic influence and takes refuge in nature, rediscovering his music as a means of spiritual liberation.
Musical Features
Musically, “Trauma” opens with the energy of Bay Area-style thrash metal, with crunching and intense riffs that lead into a Texas groove metal solo. As the piece approaches the peak of sonic violence, it gently transforms into a dramatic and powerful melodic theme, concluding with a melancholic and enveloping melody. Since her solo debut, Ferraro has continuously innovated with her work. Her first project, 'The Black Project', included tracks such as 'Fading Away' and 'Sleep Paralysis', the latter also visible through a 4K video clip presented at the Teatro Furio Camillo. Ferraro is currently working on her second album 'Nightmares', in collaboration with the label SorryMom!.
