Aversa – A new episode of youth violence shakes the city. A 14-year-old boy was brutally attacked by two twenty-year-olds while he was in via Seggio. The victim returned home with a swollen face, covered in bruises and cuts, telling his mother that he had been hit for no reason, thrown against a wall and even bitten.
The woman, shocked by her son's story, immediately accompanied him to the hospital and then to the police station to file a complaint.
"I would be able to identify those responsible," the mother declared, addressing the Green Left Alliance MP, Francesco Emilio Borrelli. "One of them practices martial arts.

The incident prompted a strong reaction from Borrelli, who expressed solidarity with the family and called for immediate action: "There can be no discount for the violent perpetrators. What happened is unacceptable. How many more tragedies must we count before we take decisive action against this crime?"
Anyone who attacks without reason is a public danger and must be severely punished. Our cities cannot become no-man's lands, dominated by criminals who terrorize young people.
The MP has already reported the case to the relevant authorities, urging swift action to identify and bring those responsible to justice. "Urban security," he concludes, "must be strengthened with stricter controls, especially in nightlife areas, to prevent similar incidents. No one should feel unpunished: those who use violence to impose themselves on others must be held fully accountable before the law."

It is sad that there are so many episodes of youth violence. Parents should be more careful and children should be educated to respect others. Safety must become a priority for all of us, even if it is difficult.
