A 36 year old woman Benevento she was arrested by the carabinieri for illegal possession of weapons.
During a house search, the military found two pistols wrapped in a towel in the woman's home, hidden in the false ceiling of a closet. The first, a 7.65 caliber in perfect working order and with three cartridges in the magazine, which had been stolen from a home in Cecina, in the province of Livorno, in 2010.
The second gun, a 6.35 caliber, was unmarked, rusty, and inoperative. The woman was granted house arrest.
