Article Key Points
The direction is entrusted to Nando Paone and the stage will see the participation of artists such as Giuseppe Orsi, Divertenseria, Dario Cuomo, Antonio Calabrese, Enza Carangelo, Ida Cervo, Roberto Gargiulo and Cosimo Luigi Alberico. Together with Giovanni Block, Luciano Labrano and Rosario Copioso will coordinate the event.
Immersion in singer-songwriter music
This is the second of four events dedicated to singer-songwriter music, with a particular focus on music in the theater. The format offers a unique experience where listening becomes more attentive and the word acquires a more intimate tone. Each artist will have the opportunity to perform alternating moments of poetry and irony, actively involving the audience.
Involvement of young talents
One of the new features this year is the participation of some students of the Creative Lab “Canzone D'autore”, a program curated by Giovanni Block. The Creative Labs are training courses designed to provide practical skills and promote new professions in the field of music and emerging arts. These initiatives are part of the Creative – Metropolitan Festival of Youth Cultures project, supported by the Metropolitan City of Naples together with the Fondazione Teatro San Carlo and the Osservatorio Giovani dell'Università degli Studi Federico II.
The Creative project aims to enhance youth creativity as an essential element for the Neapolitan cultural industry, as well as serving as a means of combating social distress, by offering free training workshops. Among these opportunities, the Canzone D'Autore workshop, led by Giovanni Block, aims to provide the basis for the creation, writing and recording of original songs, culminating in the presentation of unreleased compositions during the Audition Day with important project partners, such as FIMI, Club Tenco, and MEI. The event seems very interesting and could offer a good opportunity for young artists. I wonder if there will be other dates beyond March 1st, so I can organize to come and see.
