Philip Billing is one of the new faces of Napoli and, a few days after his arrival, he has already settled in perfectly: the midfielder, who arrived from Bournemouth, spoke to Radio CRC, sharing his first impressions of the team, Italian football and the city.
"Conte was one of the reasons I chose Napoli. He's a winning coach, and you have to be totally focused in every training session. I came here to improve, and I think he's the perfect man to help me do that.", said Billing, underlining the decisive role of the Italian coach in his decision to move to Serie A.

Moving from the Premier League to Serie A was a stimulating challenge for the midfielder, who immediately noticed the differences between the two leagues: "What impressed me most was the tactical aspect. Here you have to use your brain a lot more. Every day we focus on the game strategy, and I like it: it helps you understand football better."
Billing has already had the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, being struck by the passion of the fans: "It gave me goosebumps to see the stadium full and hear the chants throughout the match. It's very different from where I was before: it gives you an incredible boost." Even the first approach to the city was exciting: "I drove around a bit and saw Vesuvius, the seafront and from afar also Capri and AmalfiNaples is truly special."
