In a double operation, the Carabinieri of the Mondragone territorial department and the military of the Vitulazio station brought to justice two individuals wanted since 2024.
In Castel Volturno, a 43-year-old was surprised in a shop on via Gramsci and arrested in execution of a revocation order of suspension of an execution order for imprisonment, issued on August 8 by the Naples Prosecutor's Office for an aggravated theft committed in 2010 in Casoria. The man must serve a sentence of 3 months and 26 days in prison.
During the operation, a 38-year-old Serbian woman was identified, in the company of the 43-year-old, who was the recipient of two Schengen alerts. An expulsion order from the national territory was issued against her, with the obligation to report to the Carabinieri of Mondragone on pre-established days and at pre-established times, as it was not possible to immediately execute the order.
In Vitulazio, instead, a 56 year old from Torre del Greco, escapee from house arrest in June 2024, was intercepted while driving a rental car. After a chase of about 10 km, the Carabinieri they stopped him in Capua. The man must serve a residual sentence of 4 years, 7 months and 21 days of imprisonment for illicit possession of narcotics, resistance, contempt and personal injury to a public official, committed between June 2016 and May 2023 in Torre del Greco.
Both arrested were taken to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
