Two new strong earthquakes hit the Campi Flegrei in the afternoon: in rapid succession and 20 seconds apart.
The earth shook underfoot and shook the houses of many citizens at 15,55 pm with two earthquakes of magnitude 3.1 and 3.0, always in the Solfatara area.
Both tremors were felt in a very wide area, starting from Monte di Procida up to the Phlegraean districts of Naples, Fuorigrotta and Soccavo.
