The expansion of the fitness path has allowed us to reorganize and improve the training stations: now all have uniform areas with gravel surfaces, corten steel boundaries and wooden seats for relaxation. The circuit includes backrests, multifunctional bars, benches and stations for free body exercises, with structures made of certified wood and metals treated to resist atmospheric agents.
The expansion also allowed the recovery of the existing fitness trail and the addition of eight new training stations, strategically positioned in shaded areas to ensure maximum comfort even in the summer months. The Royal Wood of Capodimonte, with its 134 hectares and over 400 plant species, is a green oasis protected by theUNESCO and attended every year by over two and a half million visitors. Its sporting vocation is now consolidated: in addition to the fitness trails, here you can find football pitches and the former field Rugby, today a meeting place for the Indian and Pakistani communities who use it to play cricket.
also the picnic areas have been strengthened, with 10 new tables for adults and 10 for children, increasing the opportunities for those who want to spend a day outdoors in one of the most suggestive places in the city. The architect and landscape designer led the project Luke Boursier, while the works were carried out by the Suardi srl company of Cremona, specialized in the management of historic gardens and parks. The technical direction was entrusted to the architect Chiara Figliolia, Flanked by Henry DiVaia and from the construction site manager Francis Cantarella.
