Following the complaint, the investigation led officers from the Casal di Principe Police Station to track down the alleged perpetrator in the Aversa countryside. During the search, two additional bags were found in the man's car, containing a cell phone and a carton of fruit juice.
The man, already known to law enforcement for property crimes, has been formally charged with fraud. Additionally, the process for issuing a mandatory expulsion order has been initiated, a preventative measure that will prevent him from returning to the municipality of Casal di Principe.
