Castellammare - In the ongoing fight against illegal gun possession and drug trafficking, the Naples Police Headquarters has implemented extraordinary territorial control services.
The officers of the Castellammare di Stabia Police Station managed to arrest a 36-year-old man, originally from Vico Equense with a criminal record, for illegal possession of a firearm, resisting a public official and reported for receiving stolen goods.

The operation took place on Via Schito, at the corner of Via Annunziatella, where officers observed a suspicious individual on a motorcycle. Upon seeing the police, the man attempted to avoid the check, but was quickly apprehended. During the search, a gun 92 caliber Blow gun with the serial number erased and four rounds of ammunition. An additional 4 rounds of various calibers were found inside the motorcycle's seat.
The 36-year-old attempted to flee on foot during the stop, but was quickly stopped by officers. He was subsequently arrested and his motorcycle seized. This operation confirms the police's commitment to maintaining public safety by combating the circulation of illegal weapons.
