ComeDì, the international festival of Commedia dell'Arte at the Teatro Tram from 21st to 23rd February

The International Festival of Commedia dell'Arte, ComeSay, under the direction of Antonio Rao Gargiulo, is ready to return with a new edition called “Mascherata Insieme”, which will be held at the TRAM on February 21st, 22nd and 23rd.

This event represents an important cultural appointment for Napoli, which reconfirms itself as the capital of the Commedia dell'Arte thanks to the continuous commitment of its founder. During the event, spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy unique and engaging shows. Among these, “Tormento e Rocambole” by Claudia Contin Arlecchino and Luca Fantinutti stands out for its synthesis of tradition and innovation. Francesco Facciolli will present “Pulcinellata Sciamana”, a show that explores new dimensions of the Neapolitan mask, while Andrea Cavarra will offer a touching interpretation of “Il Mascheraio”, paying homage to the Italian theatrical tradition.

Since its inception in 2017, ComeDì has played a significant role in the cultural renaissance of Naples, cementing it as a hub for Commedia dell’Arte enthusiasts. Under the leadership of Antonio Rao Gargiulo, the city was proclaimed the World Capital of Commedia dell’Arte in 2019.
