Casoria – The Carabinieri of the Casoria company have executed an order enforcing the obligation to remain in their homes and to report to the judicial police against five people, including two brothers, believed to be responsible for possession and dealing of narcotics.

The provision, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples North, is the result of an investigation conducted between March and June 2023 by the Operational Section and the station of Carabinieri from Casoria.
The investigation began with the seizure of a large quantity of marijuana and packaging material discovered inside an abandoned building on Via Padre Ludovico. Investigators were able to reconstruct the drug dealing network run by the five suspects, who used that building as their operational base.
The sale took place in an “itinerant” manner, through pre-established points in the historic centre of Casoria, in particular in the area between Piazza Cirillo, Via Padre Ludovico and Piazza Tenente Formicola.

Furthermore, the group made actual home deliveries, thus expanding its radius of action and clientele. Investigations are continuing to ascertain any further responsibilities and connections with other drug dealing networks in the area.
