Naples – A happy ending that feels like rebirth. Ethan, the one-year-old at the center of a complex legal battle between his parents, has finally returned to Italy with his mother, Claudia Ciampa.
After being brought to the United States by his father, an American citizen, the little boy landed this morning at Capodichino airport, welcomed by a party of family, friends and a warm banner with the words: “Welcome Mom, Welcome Ethan”.
The excitement was palpable from the arrivals area, where Ethan's little brothers, grandmother Luciana Aiello and other relatives anxiously awaited the meeting. As soon as Claudia and the little one appeared, choruses of joy and applause rose. “Now I just want to be with my children”, declared the visibly beaming mother, before leaving again for Piano di Sorrento, where an even warmer welcome awaited her.

Two brothers, unfortunately, could not be present: one stuck in Rimini and the other in Sardinia. But the atmosphere is still one of great joy and relief. “Now they tell me they have arrived in Torre del Greco”, added Maria, as the square prepared to welcome the family with a collective hug.
