Benevento - “Today we have taken a significant step forward towards a historic achievement: a Faculty of Internal Area Medicine based in Benevento. President Vincenzo De Luca has guaranteed the political, economic and administrative support of the Campania Region to ensure that this, which would be an exceptional result for the territory, can materialize”.
The mayor of Benevento Clemente said this Mastella on the sidelines of a summit with President De Luca at Palazzo Santa Lucia which was attended by the regional vice-president Fulvio Bonavitacola and the president of the Province of Benevento Nino Lombardi.
“The process – he added Mastella – will involve several academic institutions: certainly the University of Sannio, to whose Rector Gerardo Canfora I have announced the results of this important meeting, as well as other universities in Campania. President De Luca, whom I thank, has perfectly understood the caliber and importance of this project: it would truly be an intangible infrastructure aimed at human development to bring Benevento and the internal areas up to European standards”.
